We decided to take a trek to the Woodland Park Zoo today. It was Isabel's 1st time and she did great. I let Maxwell set the pace for the day and we went where he wanted to go. It became very clear early on that we were not going to see any animals but walk the "trails" and follow the map. He lead us everywhere. If there was going to be animals to see, we took a different path.
The orangutans were the only "animals" we encountered.
Unusual for him, but we trekked for over 2 hours and he did great. We had a quick break for lunch and kept going. It was right around 2 that he started to crash. He rode with Isabel in the stroller back through the zoo to the car and both of them were out cold within 10 minutes of being in the car.
What a great day. Hope to do it again soon.
