It has been awhile since I have posted and we have been very busy here. Mostly just the day to day stuff of taking care of 2 babies and working, while trying to be a wife-type-person and housekeeper. Truth be told the housekeeping falls by the wayside, first thing and my priorities are Maxwell, Isabel and Terry in that order. Work is just a necessity. I have started taking mommy free days and it has helped me immensely. I didn't realize how hard it was going to be having 2 kids and trying to keep my sanity.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a mother! But being a working mother is very hard when you have no me time. Terry practically kicked me out the door for me first day off. I needed it.
But I made it and so has Isabel! She is 7 months old now and growing strong. She rolls over front to back and back to front now. Sitting up by herself, but still needing support. We started her on solid foods and boy has that been an adventure. She is becoming a beautiful and ridiculously happy little baby. She laughs and squeals in delight at her big brother and belly laughs for her daddy. Me, I am still just the milk bar and subject to the occasional goofy moment.
She is the opposite of her brother and, knock on wood, we might finally have gotten on to a nap schedule. Up until now they have been few and far between. Generally none existent. Sleeping through the night is still hit and miss. Hard to sleep train when both Maxwell and daddy need their sleep and we can't let her "cry it out." She is a delight though and did I mention happy?

Yes folks, that is the elusive smile.

"This is my favorite thing. He jingles when I shake him and his antennae taste great!"
